Cosmetic contact lenses can assist in the treatment of certain pathologies such as amblyopia or ocular opacities, they can be useful for reducing photophobia, improving visual perception in the case of aniridia (absence of iris), in cases of albinism and iridectomy ( an operation performed in cases of glaucoma or pathologies of the iris which consists of a small hole in the colored part of the eye).
